SKANSKA TO RENOVATE, EXPAND HOSPITAL IN TULSA FOR $62M TULSA, OKLA. — Skanska has signed a contract with Saint Francis Health System for additions and renovations to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The $62 million project will be man- aged by Skanska's Texas operations. It consists of 130,000 square feet of ma- jor renovation to the hospital's exist- ing surgery department, including 28 operating rooms and support spaces, and about 15,000 square feet of hori- zontal expansion including seven new operating rooms. Additionally, a new 27,000-square-foot mechanical pent- house will be built on the roof of the existing surgery department. Con- struction is expected to begin in April 2016 and end in March 2020. THE SIGNORELLI CO. BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON THE RESERVE AT ASPEN CREEK BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. — The Si- gnorelli Co. has begun construction of The Reserve at Aspen Creek, a 240- unit apartment complex in Broken Ar- row expected to open in early 2017. The community will be the residential component of The Shops at Aspen Creek, a 400,000-square-foot shop- ping, dining and entertainment des- tination planned to include multiple restaurants and stores in addition to multifamily residences. The entertain- ment anchor is the 16-screen Warren Theatre, which opened in 2015. Tulsa- based Architects Collective designed the apartments. Trinity Multifam- ily, which acquired the 13-acre site in 2014, will manage the apartment com- munity. The Reserve at Aspen Creek will consist of 20 buildings with ame- nities including a saltwater pool, ga- zebos and fre pits, workout facilities and a business center. The interiors will feature stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. GBT REALTY ACQUIRES LAND FOR RETAIL DEVELOPMENT IN OKLAHOMA FOR $3.9M ENID, OKLA. — GBT Realty Corp. has acquired an 11.3-acre retail site in Enid for the development of a 100,000-square-foot retail center. Situ- ated across from Oakwood Mall, the site was formerly home to Walmart and a distribution center for the re- gional home and garden retailer Atwoods Ranch and Home. GBT acquired the site from Atwood's Dis- tribution LLC for $3.9 million. Con- struction is underway with the de- molition of the existing distribution center. SAM'S CLUB OPENS SEVENTH LOCATION IN OKLAHOMA CITY OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. — Sam's Club has ofcially opened the doors of its newest location in Oklahoma City. Doors opened at the 4101 N. May Ave. location at 8 a.m. March 3. Prior to the public grand opening, the company hosted a business apprecia- tion event for customers. Walmart founder Sam Walton opened the frst Sam's Club in 1983 in Midwest City, Okla. M&M ARRANGES SALE OF OFFICE BUILDING IN OKLAHOMA CITY OKLAHOMA CITY — Marcus & Mil- lichap has arranged the sale of Mid America Business Park, a three-story, 84,373-square-foot ofce building lo- cated in Oklahoma City. Cody Payne of Marcus & Millichap's Fort Worth ofce marketed the property on be- half of the seller, a Fort Worth-based private partnership. The buyer is a private investor utilizing a 1031 tax- deferred exchange. Ron Hebert of Marcus & Millichap's Dallas ofce partnered with Payne on the sale. Tom Mann of the frm's Tulsa ofce is Mar- cus & Millichap's broker of record in Oklahoma. Built in 2002, the property is located at 7919 Mid America Blvd., a few miles from downtown Okla- homa City. The Veterans Administra- tion and CNI Administration Services anchor the property and account for 65 percent of the gross leasable area. Other tenants include AAR Services, Deaconess Home Care and Edward Jones.
